An unmistakable sound, an amazingly rich musical tradition, and a vibrant community of performers, teachers, students, luthiers, and aficionados.
Chronicling and serving this community has been the one and only job of Classical Guitar Magazine since its founding in 1982 in England by Maurice Summerfield, author of the standard biographical reference, Classical Guitar: Its Evolution, Players and Personalities Since 1800.
In 2014, Classical Guitar crossed the Atlantic to its new home in the San Francisco Bay Area. And while its address has changed, its mission remains constant: To inform and inspire both players and enthusiasts, sharing stories that illuminate their community, highlight their aspirations and accomplishments, and affirm their love of classical guitar.
And since our team loves helping people and businesses reach and engage with this remarkable community, please let us know how we can be of service to you.
