Stringletter Media serves an international audience of enthusiast and professional musicians who rely on our established media brands, Acoustic Guitar, Classical Guitar, DRUM!, Strings, and Ukulele, for magazines, web content, videos, downloads, and online shopping.

The Sales & Marketing Department is a hardworking, enthusiastic, and collaborative team. Marketing is dedicated to acquiring and retaining subscribers and customers and fostering engagement with and support from our audiences.

Our office is located in lovely Point Richmond, California and offers great amenities – including a fitness center, free shuttle to and from BART, and direct access to the Bay Trail. Who You Are

You are a strong communicator, internet savvy, and able to prioritize and organize. You’re detail-oriented and able to solve problems and present solutions in a simple way. You’re empathetic, a team player who enjoys a friendly work environment, and you possess a genuine desire to provide the best service possible.

You have at least one year of experience in an admin, retail, or customer service (or equivalent education and experience). It’d be great if you have worked with platforms like Shopify, Helpscout, and Mailchimp. Most important, though, is that you’re a quick learner with a flexible, can-do attitude.


What You’ll Do

You’ll be the first point of contact when customers have questions or need help. You’ll proactively manage support tickets and respond to incoming inquiries across all channels (like phone, e-mail, and social). You’ll help our customers get the most out of their purchases and work to exceed their expectations when problems arise.

You’ll also provide administrative support as a member of the Marketing Department – from packaging and shipping ecommerce orders to organizing materials for events and other special projects.
