Acoustic Guitar invited its readers to help celebrate the magazine’s 25th anniversary by donating 20% of their subscription fees to support five great guitar-related causes.  More than 400 readers responded and Acoustic Guitar has donated more than $2,000 in their names.  The recipients are:

Guitars 4 Troops: Sending guitars and other musical supplies to troops deployed overseas in harm’s way.

Guitars for Swaziland: Dedicated to providing musical instruments and education to the orphanages of Swaziland.

Guitars in the Classroom: A guitar in every classroom and music for every child.

Little Kids Rock: We won’t rest until every child has the opportunity to unlock his/her inner music-maker!

Teaching Guitar Workshops: Creating more music makers by bringing guitar instruction to schools.

Please join these generous readers by supporting one or more of these great groups.
